I came into this class not knowing the slightest thing about multimedia but left knowing just enough to give me a heads-up on what it's all about. Throughout the course, I gained helpful knowledge about communicating a message to an audience with the use of Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, and Knight Lab, while at the same time, being given an extraordinary amount of creative freedom. I felt like each program was unique from one another, which gave me a variety of skills rather than just focusing on a single one the entire quarter. Although the class was quick-paced, I think we were able to cover the most basic of topics. However, it peaked my interest so much that I plan on continuing to learn more outside of the class. As a photographer, I would say my favorite was definitely Photoshop, but being introduced to Canva gave me the resource to make media quickly if I needed to.

Now that social media is a such prominent part of life, being able to do this type of editing could be extremely beneficial for future job opportunities; It could make one stand out from a competitor. I'm extremely glad that I decided to take Writing 105m because I was able to get this experience early on, rather than learn once it's already too late. If I continue to take this seriously, I could become really good after a few years. Who knows what direction my life will take, but I feel confident that this will come up again at some point.
